Nigouki: not necessarily, as long as it's not super thick material the tape will have enough give to butt joint

Chesul: Without the bevels aligning it would be a massive pain though, since you have symmetries that need to be obeyed with that.
Nigouki: the less annoying way of doing it isn't to rely on perfectly shaped material from the start. when you start with raw material you can always start oversized and then sneak back up on the dimension. for example if you want a perfecly square corner you don't need a perfecly square edge to the outside facing piece. You can overhang it then sand it flush with the other surface
Arclight_Dynamo: Then you fill the gaps with sprue goo, and you're done!
Arclight_Dynamo: Yeah, gotta be careful of the Bevelling Crusher.
Nigouki: generally it's a good idea to leave it for 24hrs, but we're not here for that long :V
Nigouki: even when it's "dry" there is still solvents in the plastic that will take a while to fully leave the material. until then it might be a bit gummy and clog files and sandpaper
