Juliamon: I just don't see why Go has to be part of Worlds at all. People could just have their own tournaments if they *really* want to fight with Go's PVP system. It doesn't need to be an official event.

If I understand correctly the SteamDB people are claiming they sold to the Nexus because there's stuff they want to be able to do but don't have the funds to do it and apparently NM is flush with cash ATM.

They were rolling out the ability to download collections of mods as a curated setup instead of piecemeal part of setup they indicated that once you uploaded a mod to their servers, they reserved the right to serve it to people indefinitely. You could take your mod down so it wasn't visible but if they had the link to it or a collection included it, they could still download it. Nexus has never EVER monetized mods.
