   LoadingReadyRun:  I never played D&D 4e, I went from 3.5 to 5. My impression is that it wasn't well received but, in hindsight, had some good ideas
 e_bloc: the weapon of the hour, the weapon with the power.  too sweet to be sour
 roastbeefsandwitch: A great many ideas from 4th Edition made it to 5th. New players don't appreciate how they *don't* have to read a dense engineering manual to figure out how to do, well, anything.
 roastbeefsandwitch: Case and point: spellcaster enemies. They have, maybe, 5 abilities. One is at-will, two are re charge based on die roll. Takes up less than a page. Vs. in earlier editions, those casters would take 10-20 printed pages *each*, while getting 5 or fewer rounds to cast those fun spells
 roastbeefsandwitch: Is it me, or does the score seem low for Turning Point 3?
